Sales Representative – Chef Gear, Western Cape

Chef Gear is a leading supplier of premium chef apparel and accessories, dedicated to serving culinary professionals and enthusiasts. With a strong reputation for quality and service, we’re looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Representative to grow our presence in the Western Cape.

We need a go-getter—someone who thrives in retail, loves engaging with customers, and isn’t afraid to take initiative. If you're passionate about sales, customer service and prepared to go the extra mile, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through exceptional service and consistent follow-ups.
• Identify, approach, and convert potential new customers to grow the client base.
• Provide outstanding customer support and product knowledge to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular off-site visits and engage with clients in and around Cape Town to strengthen business relationships.
• Follow up on all leads promptly and effectively to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Proactively research and pursue new business opportunities across various industries and customer segments.

What You Need to Succeed

• Sales experience in the clothing / textiles industry (minimum 2 years preferred).
• A strong sales mindset with excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve.
• Organised and proactive, with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic computer skills for processing orders and managing stock.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence (essential for customer visits).

Salary: Market-related (based on experience)
