Chef Gear Celebrates TWO NEW Stores & their 5th BIRTHDAY

Chef Gear proudly celebrated the launch of their new flagship store on September 5th in Woodstock, Cape Town with an artsy, vibrant event. Meanwhile, the Johannesburg store got a fresh look and a new home in Greenstone.

The evening was hosted by the ever-charismatic Sami Hall and Chef Thabo from Chef of Expressions, who kept the crowd entertained and the conversations flowing. The latest season of MasterChef SA  contestants, along with some familiar faces, also made special guest appearances.

Guests were treated to sexy canapés (by L&T Catering), sweet treats (by Crumb Boutique Bakery) bubbly & wine (by Vergelegen Wine Estate) and craft beer (by Woodstock Brewery) mingling with fellow culinary enthusiasts in a lively and vibrant atmosphere. 

As a thank you, we handed out special Chef Gear goodie bags filled with fun surprises, including Chef Gear aprons that guests could personalise during a creative ‘Sip & Paint’ session curated by the talented Fuata Moyo. 

Damien Pimenta, Head of Finance and Operations at WorksGroup, the brand owner of Chef Gear, took the stage to celebrate the brand's 5th anniversary, honouring the diverse team whose efforts have driven Chef Gear's success. Pimenta also emphasised the brand's commitment to continued growth and innovation by adapting to the latest trends and styles in chef apparel, all designed and manufactured in South Africa.
